Today I'm gonna show you an alternate way to model a glass
First,go to create then choose Extended Primitives and Choose Gengon, then change your settings to the following
Draw your shape and then convert it to Editable Poly --> Vertex
Now,choose Chamfer option and pull the middle vertex out until you get something like this
Once you are done, switch your selection mode to Polygon and choose all of the newly created polygons on the top, then extrude them
Now,the top edge looks a bit straight, switch to edge selection and choose the inner edges and use scale tool to scale it thinner
If you want, you can also select those top polygons and scale them out too just like me
Good, you are done with the basic Modeling part now, lets add a glass texture
Here are my settings
And you are done, you can also edit your Model a little bit more and you should have your result
Here is my result
As you can see, I just add a little more chamer for more Polygons and add the Mesh Smooth modifier
Enjoy your result
