Today, I'm gonna show you how to model a simple smiley in 3DS Max
First, create a sphere (You can choose your own radius but make your segments 12 so that it's easier)
Convert your own sphere into Editable Poly and select those 2 vertices (In Vertex Mode)
Now, go to edit vertices and choose chamfer, then pull your vertices out (Using move tools)
Switch to Polygon Mode and choose the newly created polygons then choose Bevel and choose your own settings, repeat Bevel again (means you Bevel them twice)
Now,choose these two vertices
Use scale tool to scale them in, then select the newly polygons and extrude them
Once you are done, apply a Turbo smooth Modifier and you are done ^.^
Now you can customize your own smiley model and makes it looks better (if you want)
